Synopsis : The film intends to spread the message of Swami Vivekananda which he had addressed to the youth of India. Vivekananda had said –“Arise, awake and stop not, till the goal is reached. But you are the creator of your own destiny.”, the essence of which is felt as the film unfolds.
Director Bio : Nityananda Datta grew up in Chittagong, Bangladesh. During his childhood, he actively participated in social activities, such as music, art, drama, dance, and he directed and choreographed a dance drama during the era of the language movement in Bangladesh. He joined Satyajit Ray as a chief assistant director in many films. Then he went on to direct four films in Calcutta and then relocated to Bombay in 1969 and worked with Hrishikesh Mukherjee as an associate director for many films. Simultaneously, he also produced and directed, under his own ND productions, many documentaries awarded by the Films Division, Government of India. He was awarded four national awards for his directions and screenplays.
