Synopsis : Samuel, a Norwegian researcher, had planned to take Kherwal, a five-year-old boy, to Norway, but he died unexpectedly in the village where he was researching Santhali culture. Samuel desired to be laid to rest in Village Forest. Bidu, Kherwal's father, was an admirer of Samuel and wanted to fulfil his dying wish. On the other side, depressed Kherwal began seeking for new ways to travel to Norway. 

Director Bio : I am an independent filmmaker from India. KHERWAL is my first feature-length movie. Before, I had made a few short films. My short film Hope was awarded in Dresden, Germany, for the suitability contest and also at the FINI festival in Mexico. I worked as a cinematographer in feature films, ad films, short films, and music videos. I have received a few international recognitions in photography. In 2015, I won Environmental Photographer of the Year in London. Award in the DMZ international Half and Half Photography Contest, the South Korea DMZ Global Peace Award, Orhan Holding, the FIAP Bronze from Turkey, etc.
