Synopsis : La Patrie- Homeland is a tale of searching our roots. How can we define our root, our homeland? Is it the place where we were born? Or the place where we live or work, or our parents were born? Even the dictionary can't define it properly. So the confusion and its individual perspectives lie through the storyline of Homeland- La Patrie. Ani, a girl from Armenia, comes to France to search her roots. Her parents were from France but for work, they now live in Armenia. Through her journey, Ani comes across Jonathan (a boy living in France but originally from England), Victoria/Varzu (a girl living in France, her mother is Dutch, dad German, she was born in Spain), and finally Gangaprasad/Ganga. Ganga is from India, but he has travelled a lot. From India he went to Bangladesh, then Australia, New Zealand and then France. Ganga is like a river and he lives in moments. He doesn't believe in any geographical boundary. Ani and Ganga meet and then Ani gets an entirely different view of Homeland. Please use the password 'homeland17' for watching the trailer.
