The film depicts the problem that engulfs farmers and their families and the question of a solution.

Director Bio : Akshay Gouri, 26, currently a student of Direction and Screenplay Writing for Films at Satyajit Ray Film & Television Institute, Kolkata, hails from Rohtak, Haryana. Born on January 26, 1992, he did his higher secondary schooling from Delhi Public School, Rohtak in 2009 and he then graduated from Manav Rachna International University, Faridabad as a Biotechnology Engineer. He had a thorough interest in literature and performing arts, being the lyricist and keyboardist of a Delhi based Heavy-Metal band ‘Tapasya’ and was always inclined towards watching films. After working at a private firm in Delhi for about a year, which he was never passionate about, he decided that he would find his true self only through films and thus joined the film institute. A quote from the director – “I feel that cinema is a very powerful tool to capture the veiled realities and complexities of the society. The film may or may not change the perceptions of viewers but I am sure that it would certainly make them ponder over the issue and therefore, the purpose of such a strong art-form that has immense reach – cinema – is firstly to reflect the prevailing zeitgeist and thus, to bring about a change in the viewer thinking and thereby bringing about a change in the society and indeed the whole socio-cultural-political-economic structure.”
