Synopsis : DREAMS ON WHEELS IS FIFTEEN MINUTE DOCUMENTARY EXERCISE COMPILED BY MYSELF AND TEAM MEMBERS. THE FILM CLOSELY FOLLOWS AN AUTO RICKSHAW DRIVER IN THE NORTH WESTERN INDIAN REGION OF HARYANA. THROUGH THE AUTO RICKSHAW, THE DRIVER & AN ORDINARY SUBURBS OF A TOWN WE ARRIVE AT A JUNCTURE WHERE THE LINES DRAWN ALMOST START TO BLUR OUT AS WE MOVE YET STAY WITH THE INTRICACIES OF OUR BEING AND FUNCTIONING AS WE LIVE.
Director Bio : Vedika is graduate from state university of performing & visual arts, department of film in screenplay writing & film direction. Her ideas and films draw strongly from cityscapes, urban structures, isolation in familial bonds and memoirs followed by longings that weave within the monotony of everyday living. She hails from Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh & has been brought up across various cities and towns in India. Her fiction and non-fiction shorts have been showcased and awarded at prestigious film festivals across the world and at various collective community screenings for social causes and so. Presently, Vedika continues to explore herself through context and craft even more extensively in short and feature film formats ahead.
