Synopsis : ANA or as Nandita refers to as an "interesting subject" Ana is Journey of a person who suffers from self identity crisis within the society, a constant quest between ones psychology and the identity assigned by nature. The story begins after a much awaited meeting with a child fiction writer, Nandita. This film showcases the conflict which Ana deals with regarding her sexuality. A constant struggle between hormones and emotions. With the help of Nandita,Ana tries to overcome the fear of a change which is hard to accept by both herself and the society. Will Ana find what she is looking for? Who will win this battle that takes place deep inside one person? Anamitra or ANA
Director Bio : Debojyoti Lahiri graduated in Film Designing from MIT Institute of Design, Pune and interned at the prestigious Satyajit Ray Film & Television Institute, Kolkata shortly after that. His first short film “Solitude” was selected for screening in the Kolkata Shorts International Film Festival 2013 and there's been no looking back ever since. "Ana" marks as his 6th short film.
