Synopsis : I AM FINE (SYNOPSIS) Akash, has been a recluse for many years. Initially not able to accept that he suffers from depression, he avoids seeking treatment. He withdraws himself socially. His colleagues and friends are indifferent towards him. His condition worsens as he becomes delusional. He suspects that a colleague is following him keeping a constant eye on him. He fears that his neighbour conspiring to kill his wife by suffocating her with a pillow. He confronts him and faces embarrassment. When situation spirals out of control, he secretly consults a psychiatrist and tries to live a normal life. One day he receives a letter from the psychiatrist asking him to discontinue certain pills which make him sleepy, followed by a few more letters with similar instructions. Re assured, he skips the medicines. Finally, when the doctor confronts him, he discovers that he has been posting the letter to himself on the doctor’s behalf. The doctor reads the letters that bear his exact signature and stamp. He gets confused. He asks him to leave immediately. Once Akash leaves, the doctor too struck by anxiety resorts to medicating himself to calm his nerves.
Director Bio : SANJAY GURU, Film Director (I AM FINE) Sanjay is a film maker from Mumbai with a penchant to tell undiscovered stories. Previously he has worked as Assistant/ Associate Director on various projects by Bombay Duck Films, Shot Gun Movies, Ramesh Sippy Ent. Skypass Ent. Besides he has also directed shorts, Docu-drama, corporate videos, Television programs as freelancer. Originally, he hails from Odisha.
