Synopsis : The film is based on a North Indian boy who has come to Mumbai and is looking for a house, the story revolves around how a broker helps him get his desired house.
Director Bio : Sanjoli Malani comes from a boarding school in Haryana, Vidya Devi Jindal School, Hisar and hails from the city of Patna. She moved to Mumbai six years ago in 2013 and graduated from H. R. College, Mumbai with a Bachelor's degree in Mass Media. Post that joined Xavier's Institute of Communication in 2016 to pursue a post graduate diploma in Film making and television and video production. On completion of the course joined Prime Focus Technologies in 2017 as a creative trainee.At Prime Focus she performed duties of a promo producer and worked extensively with the client Tatasky. She produced and ideated over two hundred promos for the channel 100 of the brand Tatasky. She also assisted on a promo for Tatasky in collaboration with MAMI in 2017 and shot with Kiran Rao, Anupama Chopra and Smriti Kiran. She quit Prime Focus in March 2018 and since then working as a freelance assistant director. Soon after she assisted as a second AD for a Kingfisher web series called What's your Status? produced by Twilight Production, Mumbai. The digital series is already out with two of it's episodes and receiving huge views on Youtube. She also assisted at Supari Studios for their youtube channel Vitamin Stree for two projects and since then has been working on this short film which has been written, produced and directed by her.This is her first film as a Director.
