Synopsis : Apsara Dhara is the story of Rama, who resides in a poverty ridden village in India. Sidda his father believes money can bring all sorts of happiness and is against the education of his daughter. While soon the father expires Rama chances upon a fairy who provides him with all the wealth he possibly wanted. Soon the consequences get worse after Rama is unable to handle the obstacles due to the enormous amount of money. Soon, Rama realizes that education is the key to a proper life and not money.
Director Bio : Dr. Ramesh Kamath is an alumni of Film Television Institute of India, Pune. He has produced and directed the film 'Jana Mana', which is the first Konkani film shown on Doordarshan. He has also worked as the chief technical officer at Karnataka Film Industry Development Corporation. 'Aa Vai Jaa Saa' was selected and screened at the Kolkata International Film Festival. While, 'Apsara Dhara' is his latest Konkani film.
