Synopsis : 'Uyyala' is the essence of a woman's song. It is a storyteller with no apparent story of its own. The film engages with the refrain 'Uyyala' in the agricultural songs of Telangana, following its political journey into the many movements of the land. Weaving the other side of resistance, Uyyala songs are now in the foreground telling the tales of the soil, memory and history.
