Synopsis : The caste system in India has gone through hundreds of changes and has come to a stage where it has forgotten the true meaning of a caste. This is exactly what the movie ‘Gangodaka’ tries to tell with its unique tale of a person named Subbaraya and his surrounding people. He is taught the same lessons that others were taught, but he understood them in the true sense and continued to live life by the same principles and also imparted the same to other children. His unusual thought process irks other radical believers who plan to abandon him from the temple and the town, but he leaves the town himself saying that he was never wrong and he’d continue doing what he believes in.
