Synopsis : Ramabai Ambedkar is the wife of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar. Basically, Ramabai Ambedkar's life has been abandoned and struggling. Being the wife of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, he had taken up the role of sacrificing for the liberation of the Dalit exploited society. Therefore, the change of Ambedkarite movement in the lives of the oppressed society and women was not only a direct indirect involvement of Ramai but also a huge sacrifice. This is why one has to understand Ambedkarite movement thinking while understanding the Ramayas. This is the central core of this movie. The storyline, dating back to the pre-independence era, is in line with today's social change movement. In the story, a European feminist scholar comes to India to make a movie on the life of Ramayana, and through her studies, the entire life story of the Ramai is artistically exposed. The journey from childhood poverty to the struggle of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar along with the struggles that led to it. The film depicts a struggling life story that will provide value to today's generation.
Director Bio : Bal Bargale is an an Indian film director and editor. He has directed the films 'Bhandara', 'Mahima Rudra' and 'Puskar'. As an editor he has been a part of 'Paisa re Paisa', 'Aami' and 'Sevan Joker'. 'Ramai' is his 2019 released feature film.
