Synopsis : A village is ordered by the Government to evacuate to a new place to make space for the dam construction. Boosayya(60), the village leader, and Maga(50) tries to motivate the villagers to stay back and resist the evacuation. At this juncture, Maga comes to know that Patharosa(18), his daughter, is pregnant. Patharosa refuses to tell any information about her relationship when Maga inquires and she is thrown out of the house. The Government pressurises the villagers to evacuate. Things goes out of hands when Boosayya gets to know that his son, representing the Army, has been killed in the War. This triggers a series of revelations amidst which the villagers decide to evacuate citing the drought as the major reason amongst many, thereby ostracizing Patharosa. That night, Patharosa gives birth to baby as it starts raining heavily.
