Synopsis : Dibyendu Chatterjee is a struggling writer of science fiction novels, a genre that is not very popular anymore among readers in Bengal. On one of those occasions when a writer needs inspiration to tear out of their writer’s block, Dibyendu visits Mandarmani, a beachside town much to his publisher’s dismay. Little does he know that nature holds a different fate for him here. He encounters a mysterious man holding his sway over hundreds of birds without even moving a finger or calling out to them. On expressing his curiosity about what is happening Dibyendu gets no answer. But as he turns to leave both the man and the birds vanish into thin air. What he experiences is a strange scenario from the kind of stories that he usually imagines and writes in his books. Such absurdities have no place in the real. But what he is yet to realise, is that he is about to witness the weirdest of illusions, mankind has ever seen.
