Synopsis : The film portrays the fate of Hatun Ayhrun Sürücü, a German woman of Turkish descent, and her struggle for a free, self-determined life in the face of her family's opposition. Her brothers refuse to accept her lifestyle; insults and threats continue to escalate. Finally, the young woman reports her oldest brother to the police.

Director Bio : Sherry Hormann was born on April 20, 1960 in Kingston, New York, USA. She moved to Germany in 1966. She is a director and writer, known for Desert Flower (2009), Leise Schatten (1992) and Guys and Balls (2004).
