Synopsis : New research shows that extreme stress experiences can be passed on genetically. Sebastian Heinzel examines the effects of World War II on his family and follows in the footsteps of his grandfather, who served as a Wehrmacht soldier in Belarus. He discovers amazing connections to his own story and the war dreams that have followed him for years.
Director Bio : Sebastian Heinzel, born 1979 in Kassel, is a German director and filmmaker. He started his career as a journalist for newspapers and music television. Later on he discovered his passion for creative documentaries. He directed the feature documentaries 89 MILLIMETRES and b24 both of which were theatrically released throughout Germany and Austria. His short documentary SAMAGON is invited to over 40 film festivals worldwide and receives international awards as many of his other films. Sebastian Heinzel teaches film in workshops and seminars.
