Synopsis : The main characters of the film are students of Moscow Boarding School No.1, where blind and visually impaired children study. They explore the world, learn to be friends and spend time together with other children, play sports and music, and go into crafts and drawing. Every day schoolchildren walk with a cane, write with a slate and see with their hands. The daily routines have become a habit for children, but it is this stable and ordinary life that allows the blind students to have an extraordinary and a very happy childhood.
Director Bio : Born in 1965 in St. Petersburg. Graduated from the All-Russian Institute for Retraining and Professional Development of Filmmakers (Director's Department). He shot fairy tales for television, was in the director's group of the documentary project "Provincial museums of Russia". In 2008 he made his debut as a director by screening A.Averchenko's stories "Innocent creatures". Since 2014, as a director and scriptwriter, he has been doing stories in the «Eralash» – short comic series episodes. Documentary films "What a charm these fairy tales! (2013) and "Savings" (2015) are dedicated to the history of Russian cinema. In 2019 he made a documentary film "Just another day" about pupils of the Moscow boarding school № 1 for education and rehabilitation of the blind.
