Synopsis : Jhaleh has gone after her husband to the war zone. She tries to hide in a trench, but an explosion destroys the entrance of the trench and she gets trapped there. Trying to get out and rescue herself, memories of the past come to her. Jhaleh’s husband has served in the army and he was supposed to return home after the war ended, yet there is no news of him for a long time. Trying to find him, she understands that the resolution is violated and the war has begun again. Disappointed of her husband’s colleagues, she reaches her brother who is a member of MEK. Her brother informs her that her husband was arrested by MEK for intelligence debriefing. Being pregnant and scared of war, she escapes to a trench but gets trapped there. Her brother sends a group for finding Jhaleh, but the operation fails. Jhaleh’s brother commits suicide with cyanide, after revealing Younes is killed. Jhaleh is solely alone and disappointed and starts writing her testament, suddenly there opens a small hole to the out of the trench. Rescue team arrives but Jhaleh’s bones is the only thing they find.

Director Bio : Amir Athar Soheili is a writer and director who has been actively working in the industry for the past 18 years. He has directed several shorts films including Requiem for Jhale and Her Murderer, A Fork for a Bowl of Soup, Life, War and Nothing else, The Voice of Wind Walking, The Remembrance’s Photo, alone (animation) and four telefilms including Torghe, A Fair Betrayal, Symphony of Stripe Paper, and Third Person Singular which have traveled around the world. He has taught scriptwriting for the past seven years and been working as a directing consultant on many international movies such as Horn Please, Forgotten Childhood, and The Doll. He also has directed several popular TV programs like Home to Home. Soheili has been a jury member on a number of Iranian Film Festivals including Mashhad 2017 Film Festival.
