Synopsis : Maduve Dibbana, is a film focusing on child marriage, an ill-practice that still exists in various parts of the Indian sub-continent. Here the story is based in an incident situated in an extremely remote village of Karnataka. It portrays the tradition and culture of rural Karnataka and at the same time also the illiteracy, superstitions and other wrong practices that exist in their society.
Director Bio : S.Umesh had started his career as an assistant director for the film Avale Nanna Hudugi and many such other Kannada films. He also worked as associate director for Kannada films like Thumbida Mane, Avale Nanna Ganda and Lahy. As director, Maduve Dibbana is his debut feature film.
