Synopsis : 'BANNED' is a dystopian film, set in an imaginary future, when a Fascist government bans the songs and literature of Rabindranath Tagore, due to some ideological differences. The government orders to shoot anyone singing the songs of Tagore. As the situation worsens, a group of young filmmakers dare to stand against the government and start a movement.

Director Bio : Ritam Banerjee is a final year student of MBBS. Born on 25th September, 1997, filmmaking has been his passion since childhood. He has received several awards for his films 'Rigor Mortis' and 'Life of a Traveller'.
