Synopsis : A newlywed couple pays their first visit to the groom's hometown, a small southern Saudi village, where they will celebrate their marriage. Nervous and desperate for her in-laws' approval, the bride, Ayah, makes a daring choice, while her husband, Nader, tries to cope with the consequences. The new relationship is put to its first test.

Director Bio : Mohammed Alhamoud co-founded the Talashi Film collective in Riyadh in 2008 before he obtained an MFA in Film from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco in 2013. He wrote and directed four shorts; Schizophrenia (2008), Shadow (2009), Annarosa Springs (2013) and Ertidad (2019). In January 2017, Alhamoud founded Last Scene Films, a production house specialized in producing independent arthouse films, documentaries, and short films. He produced Last Visit (2019), the first Arab film to be selected at Karlovy Vary International Film Festival's East of the West Competition, and award-winning shorts including Hajwalah (2015) and Silah (2019)
