Synopsis : The Tale of My Lush Green Field narrates the tale of a man being separated from his hometown and beloved. After so many years, GholamAli returns to his hometown to re-meet the love of his young age but she's already passed away.
Director Bio : Parviz Amini (1964, Iran) has gained a B.S in Clinical Psychology from Allameh Tabataba'i University, and an M.A in Cinema from Soore University. As a writer of children & young adults' books, he's penned up to now about 212 books which have been published in Iran. He's been awarded 16 prizes for his books from Roshd International Film Festival, and Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children & Young Adults. He is also active in playwriting and one of his plays titled "I don't have time" was selected in the 4th edition of Playwriting and Story-writing Course of Iranian University Students in 1990. Among his activities related to Iranian Folklore Literature, a 23-volume series of Mowlana's elegant works, sponsored by Iranian National Commission for UNESCO, have been published. In addition to writing books for children, Parviz Amini has been also involved in making short films. "The Tale of My Lush Green Field" is his first professional short film. He made this film as his M.A thesis in Cinema, Soore University in September, 2018.
