Synopsis : It's war again. A checkpoint on the border of an unknown empire. There is no sign of war and it seems like there's no danger. The captain, recently arrived from the front, orders the soldiers to shoot at all suspicious people who cross the border. Soldiers carry out his order. But once they receive an order from the headquarters to ban the execution of civilians. And at this time through the post pass two young men who have a map, and the old man. It seems to the captain that the young men are spies, and the old man looks so strange ... The soldiers remind him of the order. But the captain still gives the order for the execution. He is sick. At night, an old man comes to him and reminds who we really are. The old man - Cain - the first killer. He is his conscience, his torment. The next morning the soldier tells the captain that all men shot. He understands that the old man came to him in delirium. The captain is confused. He leaves the checkpoint.
Director Bio : Born in Izhevsk 01.08.1988. She graduated from the Faculty of Geography of Udmurt State University (2011, UdSU). In 2015 she entered the Higher Courses of Directors and Scriptwriters of VGIK (workshop of V.A. Fenchenko and D.V. Rodimin). She is engaged in the protection of the environment, is interested in the moral problems of society, including the problem of war.
