Synopsis : A foggy morning on the White Sea. A lonely fisherman comes across a woman, lying on a shore, and takes her home. Being trapped by the woman’s beauty he behaves like a frightened child in an effort to find any contact with her. Regardless fisherman’s tenderness the woman remains to be anxious and finally leaves the house in pursuit of a new path.
Director Bio : I was born in Arkhangelsk (Russia) in 1992. While studying linguistics (English & Norwegian languages) at NARFU I enrolled into a correspondence course in film studies at VGIK (All-Russian State University of Cinematography). Learning film theory at university and participating in shootings of student projects I’ve discovered a deep desire for creating films. After graduation from VGIK in summer 2016 I decided to learn directing and got into the High courses for Scriptwriters and Film directors in Moscow. «Birdie» was my first one-shot film, which participated in London Experimental Film festival and was screened at International Arctic Film Festival «Arctic Open».
