Synopsis : Carl, an uninspired writer becomes a high school teacher. Exhausted by his popularity on campus, he looks forward to some kind of change. When Lailia, a student in the neighbour class, realizes that Carl is the author of the book she was reading, she starts a spiritual adventure to quietly guide this unknown writer...

Director Bio : JINGYANG SUN (CHINA, 1990). Originally from China, she studied film in France at the University of Paris 8. She was taught by the famous french Director Jean-Paul Civeyrac. Her first short ‘The Man from the Tiber’ gathered millions of views online in China. She's working now as associate producer on four European biopics.
