Synopsis : It’s a story of a sketch artist, named Rupak, who belongs to a simple lower middle class Bengali family. He is dumb by birth. There he lives with his brother, her only attachment in life. Rupak meets up their daily needs by drawing portraits of others in the park. But suddenly he became the only witness of a high profile murder case in the city and unknowingly his portrait became a vital proof. There began the story, the government announced prize money and on the contrary the criminals started to chase Rupak. Rupak couldn’t decide what to do; he decided to run away with his brother. But he couldn’t face his brother who relates Rupak with Super heroes. He couldn’t run, but tried to find the way out. He didn’t go for the prize money but secretly helped the administration to catch up the criminals along with a respected minister of the state without being public in a passive way by the medium of his brilliant sketch. Actually so many things happens to our daily life, but to a common man his struggle is the only thing that he can rely on and you can have even a great effect in the society without any ones’ notice.
Director Bio : Work Profile : Soumojit Adak, A passionate filmmaker at heart coupled with a strong creative mind, Soumojit embarked on a lonely journey with Cinemela in 2014, A Short Film Festival. With a deep desire to turn his passion into his profession, Soumojit turned to the world of audio-visual and was determined to make it big. Now he is a proud director of few short films , music videos , web films and TVC etc .
