Synopsis : Hailing from a provincial fishing community, Salman is a man who lives and breathes the sea.Kayyavi is an imaginary or imaginable promise in his life, who presents an intriguing life force into his world.They share this perfect space until Salman's life is suddenly rebooted and he is forced to embrace the enigma that is 'Kayyavi' herself. 'Between one shore and several others' treads on the precarious shore that separates the real from the unreal, like a visual poem.
Director Bio : Sreekrishnan K P, a film maker, video artist and curator, is based in Kerala. Graduated in English literature, he started working with documentaries, television and audio commercials. His first feature film 'Marupathai' ('The way to be') was made in 2011. His assossiation with contemporary visual artists resulted as documentaries and curating art shows.. His second feature film 'Heart of a Dog', an independent adaptation of The noval of the same title by Mikhail Bulgakov was premiered in International film festival of Kerala, in 2017. Sreekrishnan has been collaborating with theatre productions as video artist and curated an exhibition called 'Transition matters' in International theatre festival of Kerala, 2013.
