Synopsis : The story revolves around the life of an unmarried couple who live together to find happiness and contentment from their relationship. However, as we get to know every chapter of their lives we realize that they are troubled with individual commitments, deception, arguments originating due to generation gap between parent and the child and between the couple and a hidden mystery that brings them together.
Director Bio : One of the most prominent and radical Theatre directors & actors of the contemporary Indian Bengali Theatre, Anjan Kanjilal has carved his own niche in the field of creative drama through his unique & innovative direction & acting style. • Founder/ Director of Green Room Theatre (18th May, 2009); has done 95 Theatre shows till date across the country and Bangladesh with conceptualization & show designing to his credit. • Worked with almost all leading & renowned Theatre Directors in India, Kumar Roy, ManojMitra, Rudra Prasad Sengupta, Deb Narayan Gupta, BV Karanth to name a few. • Worked with highly acclaimed International Theatre Directors like Peter Bruck, Mr. Toshi, Marshal Marshue& Mr. Curior, Guntergrass. • Has successfully completed more than 200 shows including his directorial bests such as Sundor, SheshRakkha, Bismillah, Sahobase, Asukh, Natya Range, EbongSatarupa , Prayashchitto and much more. • Participated in more than 16 National & International festivals both as a Theatre Director & Actor. • In September 2018 he was invited to coach more than 50 theatre artists in Dhaka Bangladesh. • Recently Directed full Bengali Feature Film “SAHOBASHE”, Based on the problems of live-in-relationships, Starring - Isha Saha, Anubhav Kanjilal, Rahul Arunadoy Banerjee, Debolina Dutta, Sayoni Ghosh, Subhashish Mukherjee, Tulika Bose, Bratya Basu, Biswajit Chakrobarti and many more renowned artist.
