Synopsis : Jibito o Mrito is all about the journey of a suburban model-actress, Gayatri, who believes that no one can play Kadombini (The main character of Tagore's short story Jibito o Mrito) better than her. The film depicts her interaction with a veteran director Rajsekhar and a senior actress Ditipriya. Gayatri raises a few questions regarding the process of selection of actors and throws light on ethics vs box office culture. Gayatri is basically the innocence of a film maker, which he or she loses during the process of becoming a celebrity. Since the film is about making of Jibito o Mrito, the parallel lives of two actress (Gayatri & Ditipriya) intersect in a big way.
