Synopsis : Hussain knew that he would be killed next day. His caravan of roughly a hundred and some animals was surrounded by an army of thousands. He urged his family and followers to leave him alone, but nobody did. 608 AD, November... a brief encounter at Karbala in the desert of Iraq witnessed the brutal killing of Hussain, the grandson of prophet Muhammad and rest of his family members. Till today, millions from around the world visit Karbala by foot to pay respect to Hussain who sacrificed his life seeking justice. This film tells the story from a different perspective of a film maker from India who happens to be there incidentally. The narrative merges into his childhood memories and contemporary realities. Made in a time of hatred and intolerance this is a film seeking peace and love.
