Synopsis : An indifferent, lonely man in his early 40s, unambitious and jobless. A lonely woman in her 30s is a school teacher. Both hail from middle class backgrounds. They meet every day at a particular hour, when the light comes in from the window of an old staircase every afternoon. It's the spot of their regular rendezvous. He waits for her every day at that staircase. She comes. They talk about themselves, share their dreams, unspoken hopes – little bits of themselves. He likes her. She likes him. And this is all he wants, the sole ambition he has is to meet her at the staircase, every day, forever. But she is going to marry someone else soon. Because they never meet in real time. One day everything disappears. He has been waiting for her in his dream and reality, forever. Suvo is the name of that man. Mistu is the other one.
Director Bio : AAbhinandan Dutta started his career as a television editor. Since then he has worked in many National & International projects as an editor, Chief AD, associate director, casting director, acting mentor and director. He worked with directors like Aparna Sen, Kamaleswar Mukherjee and Arindam Sil amongst others in award-winning films like “Meghe Dhaka Tara”, “Amazon Obhijaan”, “Arshinagar” and “The Home and the World”. He has edited many TV series, telefilms, Ad films and non-fiction shows. He writes stories and screenplay and painting is his passion. His web series “Sufiana (Season 2)” is one of the most popular premium content among in the Bengali web series till now. “Ananta” (The Eternal) is his debut feature film which has been highly recommended by many veteran directors & film critics.
