Synopsis : “Walls That Matter” is a story of a specially-abled painting artist from Ahmedabad. He was born under extreme poverty and became a victim of Polio. The film shows the struggles that a specially-abled person goes through with himself and also with the society. The artist talks about the value of art with respect to young kids. He paints walls of municipal schools with paintings on science, technology, social studies, civic rules, history and geography. He has worked in more than 200 municipal schools in the remotest villages in Gujarat while doing 5000 educational wall paintings. The artist wants more kids to take up art and develop that as a medium of self expression and to use it as a medium to bring about positive changes in society. The film talks about the need for art to reach in the rural India since an artist can emerge from anywhere.
