Synopsis : .”Raakh” is based on a story of migrant labourers, working on daily wages. The film depicts how their lives get affected due to Covid-19 lockdown and the hardships they go through to survive these days. It also depicts human behaviour in the struggle for existence and how they are forced to go out of the way without considering the consequences. The film has no dialogues and has experimented to convey emotions without the help of any words.
Director Bio : Rajesh D. Chavan is an Indian writer, lyricist and director. He has vast experience in experimental and commercial theatre, production of feature films, AD films and documentary films. Experience of more than 30 years of production in Marathi film industry and TV serials productions has given him immense expertise to come up with creative concepts and produce quality as well as lucrative content. He has written, directed and acted in 65 plays in Marathi, Hindi, Gujarati and English.
