Synopsis : When Ramesh married Kusum he hoped to have a better future but in a series of events a cow is accidentally killed in Ramesh fields and he has to live in exile to pay for his sins. While Ramesh is in exile, animals and people die in the village and Kusum gets blamed because of her past. Living in exile takes a toll on Ramesh and a pandemic hits the village. All the villagers flee to save themselves. Having served his sentence, Ramesh returns to the empty village like a king.
