Synopsis : Shreedharan is the only son of a Theyyam artist (Govindhan) and the tradition of performing the ritual of Bhagavathi (Goddess) Theyyam after his father's death falls on him. However, he is caught up with the dilemma of wanting to be a trans-woman and enacting the goddess as women are prohibited to perform the ritual. Sreedharan's mother who knows this wants him to perform as per the ancestral tradition and his father's wish. Nanuvetan, his father's assistant in the ritual and knowing Shreedharan from a young age helps him with the preparation for his first performance. As he performs, Shreedharan is elated with ecstasy and cuts off his penis.
