Synopsis : A historical project based on a 1971 event by Jean Kay, a French activist, who hijacked a 707 Boing PIA at Orly International Airport, Paris and demanded 20 tons of emergency child medicine for Bangladeshi refugees, who were struggling to survive, especially in the West Bengal refugee camp, India.
Director Bio : Mr.Fakhrul Arefeen Khan, is two times national award winner film maker in Bangladesh, started his film career in 1997 as a film activist. His foray into independent filmmaking started while he was still a student of International Affairs at Jahangirnagar University. The national award-winning documentary Al Badr marked Mr. Arefeen’s entry as a film maker into the industry in the year 2007. Later on, he makes his journey colorful by more than 14 documentary films and 3 feature films. However, his last released film, "Gondi," also took 3 national awards and 3 international awards.
