Synopsis : A story of days in the life of 5 people trapped in the same premises or house during covid 2019 lockdown in Kolkata. On the night of total countrywide lockdown announcement that is 24th March 2020... Rudra was evicted from the cemetery by the guard in fear of covid where he was taking shelter in hiding against money Rudra finally enters the dilapidated building of old Kolkata once a zamindar’s house / palace from the back walls ... Rudra has been suffering from severe stomach pain and vomiting since last three months ... Due to cry at the dead of night Vishnu discovers the trespasser in their premises ... Vishnu stays with his father and nephew in this backside of the once palace in connection of his granddad being the head priest of the royal family ... Vishnu in turn gave shelter to sati as she was introduced by the local leader as a nurse with very meagre income and has no place to stay ... The house owner descendant if the royal family stays abroad ... So Vishnu is also the local caretaker of the premises after Vishwa ... So the story revolves around unmasking of all the characters ... and slow degeneration of Rudra’s health leading death due to cancer.. The discourse of human survive through ages depicted in Upanishad and Geeta In between interaction of two ideologies of Vishnu and Rudra , one being radical and one being completely classical surging in the grounds of compassion And sati trying to form the bridge in between and also representative of womanhood in today’s world which substantial reduction to object of desire .. Also a depiction of failing medical system for the patients other than covid affected during the period of lockdown .... A story depicting a journey of human race or civilisation from dark to light .. through materialistic to death and release ....
Director Bio : Is not film for me. It’s a heartfelt statement for me… In testing times of covid lockdown 5 people stranded in a house in the Kolkata suburb With different ideologies and socio economic standings This film depicts the internal lockdown we all are into since the upsurge of creation of unequal social and economic strata for the convenience of rule by the system or the people in the system or of the state … Thai film documents about still prostitution by a women is still looked down upon by the men where asman made society or patriot society only invented this profession for some women … The film depict my take on hypocrisy across all section of the society and loosing of so each in this system or state dominated world and also about people who dared to protest are either marginalised or being called a terrorist…
