Synopsis : With the initiative of Subhas Chandra Bose, Durga Puja in Bengal became a symbol of Swadeshi to propagate anti-British protests. Anushilan Samitis, sheltered and trained the revolutionaries. Subhas led the youth, brought radical changes to empower women, the ‘incarnation of Durga’. The women formed an army. Bose’s war was not only against the British, but to eradicate evils of society.
