Synopsis : A feature documentary biography on the life of the free education icon Centenarian Padmashree Nanda Prusty who ran one of the last traditional roofless schools of India called Chatasali, his real life story set in remote Odisha portrays the extraordinary acts of an ordinary villager, who embarks on a journey surpassing 3generations of selfless giving towards the people around him.
Director Bio : Pranab Aich is an internationally acclaimed Indian documentary film maker photographer. An alumni of AJKMCRC, New Delhi, a recipient of SONY WORLD PHOTOGRAPHY AWARD CANNES 2009. His work focuses beyond the ordinary, narrating inspirational life stories in midst of struggle. He has received many recognition 's in film festivals worldwide for his documentaries on many developmental issues. Some of the film festivals are: Durban International Film Festival 2022(oscar qualifying)-South Africa BJIFF 2017-China, Bradford Small World Film Festival UNESCO 2017-UK, IFF Ekotop 2016- Bratislava, DocuTIFF 2016-Albania(oscar qualifying) , LBIFF-Los Angeles, ALIIF –Hyderabad- India etc Some of his popular short documentaries are City's Step Child(2013), I have a Colored Dream(2014), Torch(2022), Manayun-My WonderLand(2022) etc.
