Synopsis : Minato's mother suspects something is awry when her little kid starts acting abnormally. When she learns that a teacher is to blame, she charges into the building and demands to know what's going on. However, the truth gradually comes to light as the narrative is told through the perspectives of a mother, a teacher, and a little child.

Director Bio : One of the most well-known auteur directors outside of his home Japan is Hirokazu Koreeda: Maboroshi no hikari, his 1995 narrative debut, had its world premiere at the Venice International Film Festival and was given the festival's Golden Osella Award for cinematography. Later Kore-eda movies have screened at film festivals in North and South America, as well as in Europe. For Like Father, Like Son, which he directed in 2013, he received the Jury Prize at Cannes, and for Shoplifters, which he directed in 2018, he won the Palme d'Or. The latter was also a Best Foreign Language Film nominee for the Oscars (best international feature film is currently the category's name).
