Synopsis : Hirayama seemed to be quite pleased with his basic existence in Tokyo as a toilet cleaner. Outside of his extremely regimented daily schedule, he enjoys his love of music and reading. He also enjoys taking pictures of trees. More about his history is eventually revealed through a series of unexpected meetings. A profoundly poignant and beautiful contemplation on seeing beauty in the commonplace things we encounter.

Director Bio : Born on August 14, 1945, Ernst Wilhelm "Wim" Wenders is a German director, writer, novelist, and photographer. He is a significant player in the New German Cinema. His many accolades include three nominations for the Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature for the films Buena Vista Social Club (1999), Pina (2011), and The Salt of the Earth (2014), which are about the Brazilian photographer Sebastio Salgado and the contemporary dance choreographer Pina Bausch.
