Synopsis : Sita tries to live an honest and truthful life following all religious and social norms of her upbringing while unravelling the true agenda of men around her. In this process, she emerges victorious as a strong and brave woman.
Director Bio : The film director Anil Kumar is famously known by his screen name Anil. He grew up in a small town called Alappuzha in Kerala known for its backwaters. Anil made his directorial debut in 1989 with 'Ananda Vrithandam' in Malayalam. He has been active in the Malayalam Film Industry since 1989. Anil is dominated with passion rooted in an irresistible, burning attraction towards directing. He was instrumental in directing more than 40 feature films in his native Malayalam language. He has done a feature MAIYA (Hindi) in 2017 He has directed more than 40 films in different languages. His previous film MAIYA (Hindi) is being prepared for release. This film SAAYAVANAM is his Tamil directorial debut.
