Synopsis : One river, three generations, countless failures. In the late 1950s, a group of people living along the Qiantang River fought against fearsome tides for their respective beliefs.
Director Bio : Wan Bo graduated from the China Academy of Art with a Bachelor's Degree in Photography and a Master's Degree in Film and Television. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Film Production at the Beijing Film Academy. Wan Bo holds the position of Chair of Movie Production at the Communication University of Zhejiang and is a council member of the Chinese Society of Cinematographers (CNSC). He has participated in the production of the movie Beyond The Skies and the documentary China.
