Synopsis : Inspired by a true story about two farming families in Bali and Gorontalo. Made (60) a seaweed farmer in Nusa Lembongan, Bali, he insisted on maintaining his seaweed farming business, amidst the rapid flow of change and the massive tourism sector that damaged the sustainability of the marine ecosystem. Meanwhile, far away in the Transmigration area, Tuwarno (55) a Corn Farmer in Saritani Village, Gorontalo must face drought due to long drought, he is aware of climate change and wants to re-implement an environmentally friendly agricultural system and believe in local wisdom.
Director Bio : Yuda Kurniawan is Indonesian filmmaker and founder of Rekam Films. His films have been screened at many film festivals, such as Busan, Singapore, Adelaide, Asia Pacific Screen Awards, Jogja NETPAC Asian Film Festival and many others. He has also won several awards including: NETPAC Awards and Citra Award (The Indonesian Oscar). Some of his feature-length documentary film include: "The Ballads of Cinema Lovers" (2017), "The Song of Grassroots" (2018), "The Tone Wheels" (2022). "Harmony" (2024) is his directorial debut for a feature-length narrative film.
