Synopsis : Ei Raat Tomar Amar narrates the story of a sexagenarian couple Amar and Jaya as they navigate regrets, heartbreaks, love, and forgiveness in their 30 years of marriage, all in a single night. As emotions lay bare, the couple realize that their love for each other have stayed strong and true, despite bumps on the road.
Director Bio : An acclaimed actor and director of Bengali cinema, Parambrata Chattopadhyay is a name synonymous with cult films like Baishe Srabon, Kahaani and Bulbul. After winning hearts with his breakthrough role as ‘Topse’ in the Feluda films, the actor surprised his fans with his foray into Hindi cinema and received several prestigious awards and accolades. His notable works include Bhalo Theko, Hemlock Society, Kadambari, Dwitiyo Purush and the Hindi film Pari. His directorial debut Jio Kaka (2011) was followed up by another comedy film Hawa Bodol (2013). In 2018 he directed a drama film, Sonar Pahar, which received widespread acclaim.
