Synopsis : Lang, a former stunt motorcyclist and musician, returns home to a deserted town near the Gobi Desert after serving time for manslaughter. Lang joins a local dog-capturing team as stray dogs overrun the town, with a bounty placed on an elusive black dog as part of preparations for the 2008 Olympics. Through encounters with locals and a traveling circus dancer, Lang develops compassion for the dogs, faces past conflicts, and ultimately reconciles with his father and himself, riding into the desert with a new puppy.
