Synopsis : During the COVID-19 lockdown in 2020, two brothers, film director Etienne and Paul, a music journalist, find themselves quarantined together in their childhood home with their partners. Director Bio : Olivier Assayas, born on January 25, 1955, is a renowned French film director, screenwriter, and critic known for his diverse filmography, which includes slow-burning period pieces, psychological thrillers, neo-noirs, and comedies. The son of filmmaker Jacques Rémy, Assayas began his career as a critic for Cahiers du Cinéma, where he explored world cinema and influential auteurs. He debuted with the short film Disorder in 1986 and achieved breakthrough recognition with Cold Water (1994), which premiered at Cannes. Subsequent films like Irma Vep (1996) and Demonlover (2002) also competed for the Palme d'Or. Acclaimed dramas such as Summer Hours (2008), Clouds of Sils Maria (2014), and Personal Shopper (2016) solidified his reputation, with the latter earning him the Cannes Best Director award.
