Synopsis : After young father Darren's daughter goes missing, he and his wife, Tara, begin receiving unsettling video recordings of their personal lives. Suspecting their neighbor Goh is behind the tapes, Darren decides to surveillance him in hopes of uncovering the truth. As he delves deeper into this obsession, he finds himself confronted with his own vulnerabilities and secrets. This chilling narrative unfolds as Darren's relentless pursuit for answers leads him to a shocking confrontation with the voyeur, forcing him to confront not only the mystery of his daughter's disappearance but also the darker aspects of his own life.
Director Bio : Yeo Siew Hua, born on April 1, 1985, is a prominent Singaporean director, screenwriter, and visual artist. He graduated among the top of his class at Ngee Ann Polytechnic's School of Media Studies and later studied philosophy at the National University of Singapore. Yeo is a founding member of the film collective 13 Little Pictures and is involved with the art group soft/Wall/studs, curating documentary films that intersect with contemporary art. His debut feature, In the House of Straw (2009), marked him as a significant figure in the Singapore New Wave. Yeo gained international recognition with A Land Imagined, winning the Golden Leopard Award at Locarno in 2018 and earning accolades at the Golden Horse Awards. He has also taught at various local institutions and received the Young Artist Award in 2021.
