Synopsis : This short film is the real life story of the Ventriloquist Prabir Kumar Das of Kolkata, India. He has a unique bond with his ventriloquist doll Michael whom he loves as his lifeless soul mate & an employed son. Sitting on Das’s lap, Michael has crossed a long, interesting & popular journey. The creative partnership started at Doordarshan Centre Kolkata, crossing milestones with the great filmmaker Satyajit Ray. Michael’s journey has been a bouquet of wisdom & fun. These fifty years of crazy & emotional relationship that has been created by Indian Magic (ventriloquism) between Das & his evergreen Michael is documented in a biographic style in this short documentary film.
