Director Bio : Directors Biography- I am a self-taught Mumbai-based independent filmmaker. Worked as a Chief Assistant Director in Bollywood, but my pivotal moment came in 2008 when I took on the role of Creative Supervisor for the Indian theatrical release of the Oscar-nominated classic 'Al Risalah' ('The Message,' 1976). With the guidance of music maestro A.R. Rahman, I oversaw its digital remastering and distribution in India. My debut work, the short film 'The Blink of a Cursor,' earned international recognition, screening at prestigious festivals such as the Byron Bay International Film Festival in Australia and the Independent Filmmakers Showcase in Los Angeles, where it garnered three awards. Following that success, 'Dark Frames,' my 30-minute second short film, made its mark at the 37th Durban International Film Festival and earned nominations at esteemed competitions, including the Blencong Award at the Jogja-NETPAC Asian Film Festival. My third short film, 'Bedsores,' 25 minutes, found its audience at international festivals like the 16th Jogja-NETPAC Asian ilm Festival, 19th Indian Film Festival Stuttgart in 2022, 13th Indian Film Festival of Melbourne official selection. 'Jhanjharpur - Dancing Shadows,' is my debut feature-length film. My journey as a filmmaker has been an incredible ride, and I look forward to sharing more captivating stories with the world.
